A note from Kristin

People are usually surprised I do both. On a Tuesday I'm walking a CIO through a director-level search. On a Saturday I'm in front of a camera. Honestly, it's the same skill: show up, read the room, and own it.

I grew up in DFW, spent about five years in Houston, and came home to Dallas this year. Modeling has been the goal for as long as I can remember, and I want other women to see that a creative career and a corporate one don't have to cancel each other out. This is where you'll find both.

The look book

Walked New York Fashion Week in fall 2022 and spring 2023 for two separate Texas designers. Walked LA Fashion Week for Kiel Ortega in March 2023 and shot his fall campaign. At 6′0″, fit and proportion are always on my mind, so tall-friendly style is a big part of my point of view.

The day job

I'm a Technology Client Manager at Robert Half in Dallas. I work with C-suite and executive leaders to identify skill gaps on their teams, then find the right people to take on the work and deliver it on time. My searches cover AI, data, software, and network engineering roles, and I facilitate every one from intake to onboarding.

She has a strong understanding of technology roles and is highly skilled at evaluating candidate experience, identifying relevant strengths, and matching those skills with appropriate job requirements.

Jun 2025 to now · Dallas

Robert Half (Protiviti)

Technology Client Manager

Started a Dallas territory with no accounts in August and signed a law firm, an oil and gas company, and Mouser Electronics in the first two months. The best one this year: a staffing call with Atlas Oil that turned into a $300K consulting engagement.

Aug 2024 to Jun 2025 · Remote

AST an IBM company

Business Development Manager

Sold Oracle Fusion Cloud to buyers like Voya and BlackRock. Big decisions with a lot of people in the room, so the job was building the financial case and keeping everyone engaged until they signed.

Nov 2023 to Aug 2024 · Houston

Boxley Group

Business Development Consultant

Moved from recruiting into business development once the wins added up. Brought in Sempra Infrastructure, Phillips 66, and Chevron.

Jul 2021 to Nov 2023 · Houston

SThree (Progressive)

Senior Recruitment Consultant

Signed PepsiCo, Tyson, and other Fortune 500 accounts, and billed £618K in 2023 for the UK-based firm, nearly double the year before.

2019 to 2021 · Arlington, Dallas, and San Marcos

Where it started

Leasing and marketing in multifamily housing, ending up running a team of 15 at Asset Living. It's where I learned that people buy from people who make things easy.

Clients include BlackRock, Voya, Mouser Electronics, Live Nation, Chevron, Phillips 66, PepsiCo, and Tyson.

Feature

The seven-day hire

Hiring a senior IT leader can take months. I aim for about a week. Here's what that takes.

By Kristin Stonecipher · 3 min read

When a company needs a new IT director, someone is usually covering that job while doing their own. Decisions pile up, projects wait, and the team feels it.

The person making the hire is busy, too. Finding time to review resumes, interview candidates, and collect feedback can turn a search into a much longer process than anyone intended…

Branding and messaging

Taking a few select projects

Make your value easy to understand.

Most of my career has been figuring out what someone is great at and explaining it to the person making the decision. I'm taking on a small number of projects helping founders and professionals do that for themselves.

  • Positioning and core message
  • Short bio and LinkedIn About
  • Homepage intro and offer description

Every project starts with a short call and a written scope.
